PREFACE

Development of fundamental research in recent years

V the fields of immunology, biophysics and pharmacology made it possible to make a breakthrough in elucidating individual links in pathogenesis, to improve the diagnosis and therapy of a number of dermatoses and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The mechanisms of development of psoriatic arthritis and severe forms have been clarified

psoriasis, diagnostic methods and cytokinesis are being improved

rapia. The possibilities of photodynamic therapy using various photosensitizers are expanding, non-steroidal external drugs are being used in staged treatment

allergic dermatoses, methods of specific immuno-

nogenetic diagnosis of infectious diseases of the skin and genitourinary organs.

The skin performs many functions, has a large

sparingly interacts closely through neurohumoral connections with the internal organs and systems of the whole organism and

therefore it is a projection screen of various

clinical stigmas, which are sometimes very serious symptoms

serious diseases. This emphasizes the importance and significance

dermatovenerology as a medical discipline. Authors

analyzed new data in the field of dermatology,

investigative skin diseases and STIs and shared their experiences.

A summary of the national guide presents

is a unique work and, in addition to the traditional sections on

specialty, includes a number of original ones: “Regulatory

vocal regulation of the organization of the provision of dermatovenerolitis

logical assistance in modern conditions, ways to increase it

quality and accessibility for the population", "Dermatological

aspects of Lyme disease”, “Tropical myiases”, “Medico-legal aspects of the work of a dermatovenerologist”, “Intestinal endotoxin and inflammation”, “Peptide bioregulation”, etc. Some chapters have been shortened due to loss of relevance
