The Russian-Italian dictionary is the first experience. Until now, there were only small reference dictionaries published by Gamier in Paris, Treves in Milan, and Holtze in Leipzig. This first experiment was built on the following three principles: firstly, this is a two-way dictionary, it is equally intended for Italians who want to get acquainted with the Russian language, with all its changes that occurred in the process of the development of the October Revolution and socialist construction, and for Russians studying Italian; secondly, the dictionary tries to combine scientific and linguistic tasks with practical needs, by dividing meanings and systematically selected phraseology, revealing the scope of each word and, as fully as possible, indicating practically in what cases one or another of the Italian words corresponding to one Russian word should be used; thirdly, we had to take into account the fact that, despite the clearly growing interest in the Italian language, we know very little of it, there are no manuals on it, and in this case the dictionary (always an indispensable self-teacher) should be built much more pedagogically than this would be necessary for German or English.

How does the Russian-Italian online translator work?

Among the many Internet services available these days are translators. The basics of working with them are simple: in one window you enter (or paste) text in one language, in another window you receive a translation. You can copy the translated text from the window and voice it using a speech synthesizer (if the translator has such a function). This is how the Russian-Italian online translator works.

As a rule, the transfer takes a few seconds. This depends little on the volume of the text: communication takes more time than direct text processing. The Russian-Italian online translator works in two directions: both from Russian to Italian, and from Italian to Russian.

The accuracy of online translators is constantly improving. Of course, no online service can compare with the work of a professional translator, but online systems convey the meaning of specific words and phrases well. The most advanced systems allow users to enter a more correct translation and send it to the server.

Have you received an important text, scientific or journalistic article in Italian? Chatting with people from Italy? Want to check the exact meaning of a particular expression? The Russian-Italian online translator will provide you with a quick translation of the meanings of any known word or expression.

Ways to use an online translator

Russian-Italian online translator can be useful in any situation when it comes to dealing with the Italian language. Since Italy is a country with developed production, goods from Italy can be found all the time.

The Russian-Italian online translator is indispensable for translating all kinds of labels, instructions, shortcuts. Often accompanying texts for Italian goods are not duplicated in other languages.

Live communication with Italians who do not speak other languages. This applies not only to Internet correspondence. The author of these lines had a case when the language barrier in life was overcome only thanks to an online translator. Then both interlocutors, standing at the same laptop, took turns entering text into the appropriate fields of the site. And you know? We understood each other perfectly! Take note of this method.

Learning Italian. Online translators tend to be more focused on real spoken language and contain a more accurate selection of synonyms than paper textbooks or dictionaries. The voice engine is based on real Italian speech and pronounces Italian words correctly.

You can use an online translator from any part of the world, from any computer, smartphone or tablet. The interface is so user-friendly that it is easy to work with on any screen size. Even if you are using a slow cellular connection, the Russian-Italian online translator will still provide fast results.

Let's break down language barriers together. Online translators help establish mutual understanding between people all over the world!
