The Holy Scriptures give several names of God, each of which conveys a certain property of the inherently incomprehensible Creator of heaven and earth. The names God and Lord are the most common in biblical texts. The first name translators translated into Slavic and Russian was the Hebrew word Elohim. It appears about 2,500 times in the Bible. Most often it is used when talking about the one true God. It is opposed to idols – false “gods”. The plural form (the ending “im” is added to masculine plural nouns) of the name Elohim does not indicate the multitude of gods (the verb with the word Elohim is always singular), but the greatness and inexhaustibility of the Divine properties. In the Greek Bible (Septuagint) this name is rendered by the word Theos.

The word Lord in our Bible translates a name that appears more than 6,000 times. Jews from ancient times did not pronounce it because of reverent fear. By design, it is a word consisting of four letters (Tetragrammaton) - YHWH. Translators of the Holy Scriptures into Greek render it as Kyurios (Lord). Most often it is used when speaking about the Divine as an absolute, eternal, original Being: “I am who I am” (Ex. 3:14).

As usual, an ardent supporter of one point of view or another is very doubtful about all other sources, except those that are recognized in his circle. So let's turn to the Bible again.

The Bible testifies:

— It turns out that people did not descend from Adam and Eve.

— It turns out that the very concepts of “GOD” and “Lord God” are completely different personalities.

— It turns out that the Biblical God fights with other Gods and that means he is not the only one. In the Bible, the Jewish and Christian god Jehovah (Yahweh) battles the God Baal and the God Ashtoreth. Why then do they say that Jehovah is the only god?

— It turns out that the very name “Elohim”, used in the Bible as a designation for God, is a form of plural language, that is, it indicates not one God (Eloh), but a plurality of Gods (Elohim).

Not so simple.

One of the names of God that appears quite often is Absolute. The meaning here is that God is a Perfect figure, so to speak, absolute, maximally harmonious and correct. Naturally, such a figure can only Create, create.

But even here there are conditions. It is possible to create something and not destroy anything only in emptiness. There is nothing else yet. As soon as material objects appear, be it firmament, be it earth, be it water, any creation in that place automatically implies destruction. And the Absolute, by definition, cannot destroy, it can only create. As soon as he destroys something, he ceases to be the Absolute.

Accordingly, God cannot act in the material world by definition. In our world, only an actor of a lower level can perform active actions. Everything is according to the Universal Law of Structure.

This is where everything falls into place. God created the material world in emptiness, without destroying anything, completely corresponding to his maximum level, but all further actions to manage this space are performed by the Lord God, an agent of a high, but not the most maximum level.
