So let's start running the test. First, you need to connect to any session in GTA Online (public, private, solo or gang) and wait for an email from Maud Eccles to arrive on your smartphone. In the letter she will ask you to capture or finish five bounty hunting targets.

There is nothing complicated in capturing targets: we take any melee weapon and hit the desired person on the head with it. A brass knuckles, a baseball bat, a switchblade, or even an adjustable wrench can easily be used for this task. In general, anything that will not send them to the next world after a single use.

However, if you don't feel like messing with your targets, you can simply finish them off. However, the reward in this case will be much lower: for a living target - $10,000, and for a killed one - $5,000. So at the end of the bounty hunt you will receive either $50,000 or $25,000. It's up to you to decide.

The note: if it so happens that the target will finish you off (anything can happen), then you will have to wait a few minutes to receive a letter from Maude with a new hunting goal.

By the way, one cannot fail to mention one feature: there is everything 20 goals for hunting, but you will get five random. So if you miss the target, then next time there is a high probability that you will have to hunt for a completely different NPC. Among other things, targets can spawn in 20 plots on the map. Each of the plots has 20 seats, in which the target may appear. It sounds complicated, but in reality everything is simple.

As soon as you deal with all the targets (kill or capture them), you will receive a message on your smartphone with the location of the Stone Axe, after which all that remains is to go there and pick it up. By the way, the Stone Ax is not just another weapon to add to your collection. The Stone Ax is the most powerful melee weapon in all of GTA Online. You can kill any NPC or real player with literally one hit.

Among other things, as soon as you kill someone, the “Slaughter” ability is activated (something similar to Trevor in GTA 5), which reduces damage taken by 50%, doubles health regeneration and slightly increases the damage from melee attacks. Critical damage from hits to your head is disabled when the ability is activated, i.e. They can't kill you by shooting you in the head.

This ability is only available in Free Mode, so you cannot use it during tasks and jobs. To keep the Carnage ability active, you simply need to kill all nearby people. Once the ability ends, there will be a cooldown period that lasts one minute.

As with the Self-cocking Revolver, killing 25 people with the Ax will unlock it in Red Dead Redemption 2 and also earn $250,000 in GTA Online. Add in the money from the bounty hunt and you get a total of $300,000 (or $275,000 if you decide to kill targets). This test is not limited in time, so you can start it at any convenient time. When you deal with the last fugitive, a few minutes later, Maude will send you an SMS saying that he had hidden treasure. You can find its location on the map. The interesting thing is that each player has a random place. Arriving at the place, you will find a chest in which the same ax from RDR2 will lie.

The ax has one unusual property: when killing NPCs or other characters, the character becomes immortal for a while. Also, after receiving the stone hatchet, the test will automatically start. You need to complete 25 different kills. The reward is $250,000 in game currency, and you can also get this ax by purchasing RDR2, but this is an easier option.
