About school
Our center was founded in 2005. At the moment, our center is the only school in Moscow in which Italian teachers accompany students throughout the entire language learning process, starting from the very first lesson. We employ only native speakers with higher education and qualifications as teachers of Italian as a foreign language.
Flexible schedule
On weekdays or on weekends, in the morning or in the evening, once, twice or three times a week, for two, three or four academic hours - our flexible lesson schedule gives students the opportunity to choose the most suitable group for themselves in terms of time and language level.
Super intensive courses have also recently opened. Classes are held in the morning, five times a week, for four academic hours. You can complete an entire level in just three weeks.
If you have free time before a business trip or vacation in Italy, our super-intensive courses turn out to be the most effective, reliable and fastest option to achieve the desired level of language proficiency in the shortest period of study.
A large number of groups of all levels is a big plus
Our center has more than 50 groups from beginner to advanced levels of language proficiency. This wide selection makes it possible for those who already have language skills to quickly find an existing group of a suitable level and join it at any time.
If your schedule changes during the course, you can always move to any group that suits you. And also, if your group wants to take a break, but you want to continue, we will quickly find a suitable option for you.
Methodology
Our methodology includes communicative, direct and humanistic-affective approaches, i.e. the most popular and effective ways to enable students to understand and actively use Italian from the very beginning. This technique requires the active participation of the student, who from the very beginning must be ready to perceive a foreign language and compose sentences in it.
Our goal is for the student to achieve a balance between mastered grammar and speaking practice. We are deeply convinced that this is only possible if Italian is taught by native speakers who give students the opportunity to feel truly immersed in an Italian environment where Italian is spoken in a real way.
The quality of teaching is guaranteed through the initially strict selection of teachers and constant monitoring of their work during the academic year. Every month, our methodologist organizes special seminars for teachers, aimed at teaching them the correct use of the methodology chosen by our school.
Book Shop
Since 2009, a bookstore has also opened in our Center. A wide selection of Italian textbooks in Italian and Russian helps you expand your knowledge of the Italian language. Textbooks, audiobooks, light reading, magazines, Italian literature in the original, etc. You can purchase from us at school, or order through our online store.

Continuing the topic of reviews of Italian language courses in Moscow, we turned to the opinions of study.ru forum participants.

In the thread dedicated to the Italian language, the question was periodically raised about which courses in the capital could quickly and easily learn this beautiful language. Visitors to the site shared stories about who attended which courses, their successes and impressions.

So, to the question of one of the visitors: “What can you tell us about the courses of the Center for the Study of the Italian Language “CORSOIT”?” – a user under the nickname Aliya-G expressed the following objective and balanced judgment:
“I studied at Corsoit on Chistye Prudy in February-June 2008. I studied in the group of O.M. Einarova. I liked the teacher, she explains everything and stops at difficult points. Printouts were used - a new set was issued for each lesson; there were no textbooks. The course for beginners is quite intensive; in 4 months we completed what other courses give in 8-9 months (in fact, the complete Progetto Italiano 1 textbook, if you go by the length of the textbooks). This is both good and not so good: if you miss classes, it’s very difficult to catch up later. Accordingly, if it is difficult for you to perceive a large amount of information in a short time, it will also be difficult.
I didn’t start speaking in 4 months, but the foundation at Corsoit was laid excellent: when, 1.5 years after the Corsoit course, I came to another course, the teacher was surprised at how well I had learned what I had learned.”

A visitor to the forum under the name Marta13 warns against attending courses with, in her opinion, low-quality teaching methods:
“There is a school of Francis de Sales (Cultural and Educational Center named after St. Francis de Sales) in Fili, the teacher is a young lady Lisa - I DO NOT RECOMMEND! The prices are very low, but the preparation is appropriate. The only plus is that the groups are small.
There is another school. Centro Italiano di Cultura. Located on Belorusskaya. Now I'm working there. The lessons are too long, the teachers are constantly changing, the lessons are fragmentary, the group is multi-level and large. I'm going to go. So I don't recommend it either. But here’s what I can say: I started speaking Italian as soon as I arrived in Italy, but in Russia it’s not practical to learn it. No speaking practice."

However, not everyone supports the opinion that it is inappropriate to study Italian in Russia. Thus, a site visitor under the nickname Roberta writes:
“I study Italian at the Ilya Frank School of Foreign Languages. And I really like it. No matter what they say, you can master a language in a short time (if you wish)!!! I tested it on my own skin. I don’t know if it’s the methodology at this school or something else... but I was surprised at how I started speaking.
In general, if anyone is interested, I recommend it!”

And finally, here is a brief recommendation from Anima83, although it is not based on her personal experience:
“I heard from my friends that there are good foreign courses in Moscow. languages called VKS. They are taught by native speakers and the methodology is communicative.”
