How are releases created?
You can often find that unknowing people call us, dubbers, translators and demand that one or another of their favorite releases be dubbed as soon as possible. Basically, Russian dubbed release consists of 4 production stages, namely:

The Japonist translates the spoken words into English by ear, the timer adjusts the timing of the subtitles, the editor edits the translation into the correct English, the designer draws up the style of the subtitles, the coder encodes the text and puts together the final release. How many people? Correctly 5-6 people.
And here the first subjective reasons begin, someone has exams, someone has a wedding, someone's computer has broken. This is where this notorious infinity lies. Sometimes it all becomes so sad that the project is dropped.

The third stage begins, the Russabers choose the translation that they prefer, it often happens that the subs are so crooked that few people understand what is meant there at all. Since ansabers are not perfect, so are Russabers, who often cannot translate. The translator Advocate wrote a lot about this, they write a lot about it in Lurka, as an example is a typical translation of "I’m Vasya", many translators translate as "I am Vasya."

Russian translation dubbing.
At the last stage, a funny fundaber chooses a translation for himself according to which he will have to voice. As soon as he looks into the Russian fansub, his eyes start to fall on his forehead, because some fansabers who often do not know Russian sometimes make such funny translations that it is almost impossible to pronounce them. It often happened that when an actor says 2 words on the screen, the Englishman translates into 4 words for fidelity, and the Russaber translates into 8 so that it was exactly "wooh". Fundaber strives to say these cherished two words, and in that intonation so that the viewer understands what they mean. And so, having chosen the normal translation, the voice acting begins. It lasts in different ways, many sound for 2-3 hours 1 episode, many are controlled in half an hour. Next comes the timing of the sounding of the road under the video. The timer is usually either the daber itself, or the timer. Timing takes the greatest amount of time, sometimes up to 2 hours. Are you ready to sit for 2 hours every evening for the anime time program? No we want to walk, lessons? But some can.
And since the release is only timed out, they begin to mix and assemble it. As a result, the release is made on average in 2 days.
Now let's get back to subjective factors.
By eye, I got a chain of 10-15 people who are engaged in one anime in their free time, if someone falls out of the clip of their teams, the release will slow down. Translation / dubbing is a hobby and attitude towards it is a secondary factor in life, that is, first, work, girlfriend, friends, sex, and only then you can time out or translate. And also do not forget that we are working on many releases in parallel setting priorities.
